Day 2 – Ride at the Pyramids & Explore Saqqara

This morning, saddle up for an unforgettable ride around the Pyramids of Giza. Feel the power of Egyptian horses as you gallop across the vast desert, with one of the world’s most iconic wonders rising before you. The ride finishes at the foot of the Great Pyramid, where you’ll join your guide to explore the complex and the Sphinx on foot. After lunch, the journey continues by car to Saqqara, Egypt’s largest archaeological site. Here you’ll discover tombs and pyramids from the Old Kingdom, including the Step Pyramid of Djoser—the world’s very first pyramid, built nearly 4,700 years ago. Back at the hotel, you’ll cap off the day with a rooftop dinner, watching the sun sink behind the pyramids.

Day 3 – The Egyptian Museum & Flight to Luxor

This morning takes you into the heart of ancient history at the Egyptian Museum. Home to the world’s largest collection of Egyptian antiquities, the museum brims with treasures—mummies, sarcophagi, papyrus, and stunning works of art. A highlight is the collection from King Tutankhamun’s tomb, including his solid gold burial mask. Afterward, enjoy a traditional lunch of koshary, Egypt’s national dish, before heading to the historic Salah Al Din Citadel. From the hilltop Mosque of Muhammad Ali, you’ll take in panoramic views of Cairo. In the evening, you’ll catch a short flight to Luxor, where the pace shifts. Dinner awaits in the tranquil village of Ramlah, your new home base.

Day 4 – Temples on Horseback & Sunset on the Nile

After breakfast, meet the horses and set out for your first ride in Luxor. You’ll trot through lush farmland and sleepy villages on the west bank, passing scenes of traditional life—farmers working fields with donkeys and water buffalo. Your first stop is the Ramesseum, a grand temple dedicated to Pharaoh Ramesses II. After a guided visit, ride on to Medinet Habu Temple, built by Ramesses III. With the horses resting, you’ll explore its impressive reliefs before lunch at a local restaurant. In the evening, a boat ride on the Nile offers the perfect chance to unwind, sipping Egyptian tea as the sun dips below the horizon.

Day 5 – Valley of the Kings & Desert Camp

This morning is dedicated to one of Luxor’s most legendary sites: the Valley of the Kings. Step inside the awe-inspiring tombs where New Kingdom pharaohs were laid to rest. From here, continue to the Temple of Hatshepsut, a masterpiece carved into the mountainside in honor of Egypt’s most powerful female pharaoh. After lunch and a short rest, you’ll ride out into the desert. As the sun begins to set, the horses carry you toward your campsite, hidden among the hills. Dinner is served under the stars, with the horses nearby and the crackle of the campfire keeping the desert night alive.

Day 6 – Desert to Nile Ride & East Bank Wonders

Awaken to the serene silence of the desert and the soft presence of the horses grazing nearby. If you’re an early riser, you may catch hot air balloons drifting across the distant sky. After breakfast, ride back toward the Nile, crossing rugged terrain, farmlands, and villages along the way. Lunch will be waiting at your accommodation. In the afternoon, you’ll cross the river to explore the mighty Karnak Temple complex, the largest religious site ever built. The tour continues along the Avenue of Sphinxes, ending at Luxor Temple. As evening falls, return to the west bank for a relaxed dinner.

Day 7 – Balloons at Sunrise & Sunset Desert Gallop

Today begins with a truly magical experience. At dawn, ride to watch hot air balloons rise gracefully above the Valley of the Kings, a surreal view from horseback. Afterward, enjoy a hearty Egyptian breakfast of falafel and ful medames before taking a midday break to rest. In the late afternoon, mount up for your final ride. Canter through the villages and into the open desert, where long stretches of sand invite an exhilarating gallop. As the sun sets, you’ll ride up into the hills for panoramic views over the valley, temples, and mountains. The journey ends with a farewell dinner of homemade Egyptian food at the stable, shared with the horses.

Day 8 – Ma’salaam (Goodbye)

On your final morning, you may choose an optional ride before departure. Otherwise, relax at the stable, take a swim, or browse for souvenirs. When it’s time, a driver will escort you to Luxor Airport for your onward journey. You’ll leave with memories of gallops through history, starry desert nights, and once-in-a-lifetime adventures.
